About This Project

This was a remodel transformation of an existing home. It was determined economically preferable to totally remodel this residence as opposed to tearing down and rebuilding. Both interior and exterior were updated while essentially maintaining the existing roof and wall structure. A new wall and entry gate announced the redesigned entry court.

Living room was redesigned with stepped ceiling soffit and redesigned fireplace. Two existing bedrooms were combined into one large master suite with fireplace, wet bar, and sitting area. Vaulted ceilings with cove lighting and decorative glass block add light and dynamics to the dual lav master bath.

Steel frames were installed to open the waterfront side to the bay view. Raised gable roof was added over the master bedroom. Existing roof was opened to provide vaulted ceiling with light cove over the master bed.
